The Peter Obi’s Paradigm Shift

A remarkable change in our social-cultural and political lifestyle has occurred. It has come full circle as a ground to top culture-political re-orientation and people power re-awakening leading to the greatest political offset ever to be witnessed in Nigeria's electioneering system. This has changed the way the old political class reduced the electoral confidence of many into powerless critics of the bad government. It has reviewed the way the old order subjected many to transactional individuals who are only interested in receiving the gift or financial inducement for the sale of every four years of governance for immediate gains not minding the uneasy fortune it forced on the people, including themselves. This changed the ridiculous conditioning of the mindset of many to believe that politicians needed to bring so much money to the political theatre in other to lavishly show off and buy anyone that has a price tag. The manner in which this lavish spending is done disoriented people on the true criteria of good leadership. 

Peter’s paradigm shift has emboldened the youths and progressives; it has changed completely the usual way for most political alignments; the old-order political thinking and way of doing things with the revolutionary world standard way that will engineer a new and efficient Nigeria. The components of Peter’s paradigm shift can be grouped into four parts namely; 

• Character 
• On-the-job experience 
• Performance Tested 
• Ability to ignite a new culture worth following

Character: 

Peter Obi is detribalized, prudent and competent with prime stable emotional maturity and possesses strong political will for tough and strategic decisions.

On-the-job experience: 

Peter Obi has undertaken credible service in managing a small unit of the country in the module of Anambra state. During his service as governor of the state, he cut down drastically the cost of governance; paid workers and pensioners on time; paid contractors as when due and still left savings for the incoming government to the tune of billions of Naira without owing any worker as at the day he left office. He did not lavish the state resources on expensive champagne or parties; he did not share money with people for election or re-election rather he took the risk of impeachment because he refused to bribe the committee with state funds thereby not betraying the trust the masses placed on him. Peter rose above board in his stewardship in Anambra towering higher than no other; he has become a political model worth emulation.

Performance Tested:

Peter’s evaluation as a leader that would engineer a new and efficient Nigeria has been benchmarked by the things he did as Anambra governor and the manner in which he did them. So if Peter says to us; “I will cut down the cost of governance if I become president”; we will believe that he will do it because we have seen him do the same as Anambra state governor. If Peter says to us; “I will not lavish our commonwealth on unnecessary parties, wines or by recklessly handing over government money to party members, family and friends” we will believe him because we have seen him do it as state governor which earned him the national title of stingy man. If Peter says to us; ‘I will not waste our commonwealth on party delegates during my re-election” we will believe him because it is on record that he distinguished himself from the old and popular political ways of doing things as it relates to party primaries. He pulled out from PDP at the expense of being politically unpopular but his passion to save our country from the old order of doing things has awakened the new political order of today. Many more things Peter would tell us and we will believe him; this is because he has been performance tested and his rating came out high beyond any other who has presented self for the same office. Peter’s paradigm shift is objective, sincere and efficient and has the ability to restore the lost fortunes of our country.

Ability to ignite a new culture worth following: 

Peter's paradigm shift is the new national political culture hinged on competence; fuelled by a mass movement of youthful and progressives who are convinced that with endorsing Peter obi they cannot go wrong in their quest for a new and efficient Nigeria. Peter represents the character of a leader worth my support and he has earned it by his past antecedents.

It would be important to own the bragging right of being part of the birth of a new and efficient Nigeria. As you make that commitment please remember these few action plans;

1. Your vote can only count if you get your PVC which will make you eligible to vote.
2. If you vote and wait till all the votes cast are counted; you will realize to your amazement that your vote actually did count.
3. Make effort to re-orient more people in your circle to vote Peter Obi; club members, neighborhood; community, market union, church societies and appeal to them to mobilize more people in their circle for Peter Obi so that together we will be creating the pure foundation for the birth of a new and efficient Nigeria.
